Based on local moonsighting, it is confirmed that the
FIRST DAY OF SHAWWAL 1438 WILL BE on SUNDAY, JUNE 25, 2017
Eid Mubarak to you all and your families.
InshahAllah, Eid ul-Fitr prayer times at IACC (Plano masjid) will be as follows:
FIRST SALAH – 7:00 AM
KHATEEB: Shaykh Arsalan Haque
SECOND SALAH – 8:30 AM
KHATEEB: Imam Mokhtar Maghraoui
THIRD SALAH – 9:45 AM
KHATEEB: Br Monzer Taleb
IACC Eid parking is available at the Masjid; behind McDonald’s; at the Village Creek Shopping Center (only the parking spots marked with white lines] and the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School located at 3100 W. Spring Creek Pkwy. Plano, TX (Please DO NOT park in front of McDonald’s, “City Garage”, “Y Pay More Cleaners ” or any other businesses – you’ll be towed at your own expense)
Direction to the School Parking lot (3100 W. Spring Creek Pkwy)
From Independence Pkwy (South Bound ) – turn Right onto Spring Creek Pkwy, heading West;
From Independence Pkwy (North bound ) – turn Left on Spring Creek Pkwy, heading West;
Take the 1 st U-Turn, Parking lot entrance will be on your right lot [Look for the Eid Parking sign]
From Spring Creek Pkwy (West bound ) – After crossing the Independence Pkwy intersection take the 1st U-Turn, The Parking lot entrance will be on your right [Look for the Eid Parking sign]
From Spring Creek Pkwy (East bound ) – before the Independence Pkwy intersection, turn right into the parking area [Look for the Eid Parking sign]
Constitutional Amendment Voting Schedule.
The final voting is scheduled for Saturday June 24th at Dhur.
“Shura would like to encourage all members to cast their vote on the 2 amendments being proposed.
1. Change shura board from 7 to 9 members effective the next election.
2. Amend the quorum requirement for amendment to 20%, then 51% of
the votes must be in favor of the amendments.
Please remember this proposal is simply to seek permission from the majlis to make the change in the Quorum requirement, and future amendments will follow to protect the integrity of the IACC constitution.”
