JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
This position is Part-time with potential for full time with flexible hours. This job requires Accounting and Finance skills supporting following areas:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- General Ledger Accounting
- General Ledger and Bank Reconciliations
- Financial Reporting
- Payroll Accounting
- Expense Report management
- Month End/Year End Close
- Preparing Audit schedules
The Accountant will be required to work in IACC Office and will report to IACC Shura. The Accountant will closely work with Accounting Team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of General Accounting principles, including, but not limited to, the understanding of Accounts payables, Accounting reconciliations, prepaid expenses, asset depreciation and allocation of expenses across business segments
- Ability to research issues, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently on assignments or projects, while working cooperatively in a team environment
- Ability to interact with IACC Shura and others IACC teams in a proactive and constructive manner
- Possess Good organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft SharePoint
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Authorized to work in the United States
Qualification and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant
- Associate Degree in Accounting (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Preferred)
