The Islamic Association of Collin County (IACC) is a non-profit tax-exempt organization (Tax-ID: 75-2705898) that has been formed exclusively for educational, religious, and social purposes. It is registered with the Internal Revenue Service under revenue code 501(c)(3).
IACC Communication Policies
General Communication Policy
The IACC Shura (Board of Directors) or its designee are the only ones authorized to make all general announcements from IACC.
Announcements from prayer halls require prior approval from a Shura member.
To distribute flyers, literature, business/organization/event promotion materials at IACC, prior permission from Shura is required.
Electronic Communication Policy
The IACC Shura (Board of Directors) or its designee are the only ones authorized to generate all electronic communications from IACC.
All email communication from IACC will be sent using official IACC email addresses (@planomasjid.org).
All WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other electronic communications will be posted by IACC Shura or its designee only.
Important updates may also be posted on bulletin boards in both the men’s and women’s sections.
The use of the name “IACC” is prohibited by any third party without prior authorization from the IACC Shura.
