A British-born Islamic scholar and community leader, Imam Yaseen brings over two decades of religious and academic experience across the UK and USA. Born in London in 1982 to parents of Indian origin, he completed extensive traditional training — including Qur’an memorization, Alimiyyah studies, and Fatwa certification — alongside an M.A. in Islamic Studies from the University of London.

His journey as an Imam and educator began in 2002 in London before he relocated to the United States in 2006, where he served communities in Plano, TX and Baltimore, MD through spiritual leadership, counseling, and extensive interfaith dialogue. He later specialized in bereavement counseling and end-of-life care during a period back in the UK, returning to the US in 2021 to continue his community work.
