Marriage in Islam is revered as a blessed bond, emphasizing mutual respect, compassion, and partnership. It serves as the cornerstone of societal peace, fostering stability, harmony, and moral values. Through marital commitment, individuals cultivate love, support, and understanding, contributing to the flourishing of families and communities alike.
In this seminar students will learn about the Islamic laws that govern the formation, care, and dissolution of the family. Topics will include: spouse selection, courting, the marriage contract, the wedding, the rights and duties of husbands and wives, divorce, child custody and maintenance.
