Ustadh Jubaid Choudhury
Jubaid Choudhury was born in Sylhet, Bangladesh and raised in Queens, New York since the age of five. He graduated with a degree in Accounting from Queens College, CUNY. He Currently works as a Controller in a private distribution company. He is married with three daughters and two sons.
His first teacher was his late father, Muhammad Sanawar Ali Choudhury (ra), who was the first Imam for Jamaica Muslim Center. He had the privilege to study the Quran and Arabic with many notable teachers, Alhamdulillah, in New York and Dallas. He received an Ijaza in Recitation from Sheikh Saad Hassanin and is currently studying Advanced Level Arabic with Sheikh Fahad Alghamdi.
In 2014, he moved to Plano, Texas and has been part of the IACC community since then. Has taught Tajweed at IACC Sunday School, and currently teaching Arabic for Kids under the tutelage of Sheikh Fahad Alghamdi. Previously, he taught Beginners Arabic at the Foundation of Knowledge and Development in Queens, New York under the tutelage of Sheikh Shakiel Humayun.
