Shaykh Omair Rasul
Shaykh Omair Rasul was born in Sacramento, California. He attended high school and college in St. Louis, Missouri, where he obtained a diploma and an associate’s degree. Following that, he enrolled in Darusalam Foundation in Chicago, completing a one-year intensive Islamic studies program and receiving an ijazā in Tajwīd. He later transferred to the U.S branch of AL-Hussnain seminary, where he spent 5 years studying and obtaining ijazāt (certifications) in Arabic, Fiqh, Tafsīr, and Aqīda. Seeking further knowledge, he traveled to Faisalabad, Pakistan, to complete his Islamic Studies course at the headquarters of AL-Hussnain Seminary. During his time there, under the mentorship and supervision of world-renowned scholar Sheikh Tariq Jameel and other senior scholars, he received ijazāt in the hadith sciences.
