She also studied for 3 years at Qalam Seminary, Carrollton, TX. She holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Islamic Studies and Arabic, and a Master\u2019s degree in Islamic Law and Tradition. A lifelong student of sacred knowledge, she continues to learn with local scholars and mentors.<\/p><p>With over fifteen years of experience serving Muslim communities across California and the DFW area, Ustadha Maryam is passionate about community-building, organizing impactful programs, and connecting with people on a meaningful level. She is an instructor at Taqwa Seminary in Plano, TX and serves her local community through halaqahs, educational programming and spiritual counseling for sisters and youth.<\/p><p>When she\u2019s not volunteering at an event, you\u2019ll likely find her immersed in a good book, adding to her growing library, or crafting one of her legendary salads.<\/p><p>She also speaks Urdu fluently, so don\u2019t be surprised if she occasionally throws an Urdu joke to spice things up!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7433030 elementor-hidden-desktop elementor-hidden-tablet elementor-hidden-mobile elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7433030\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Ustadha Maryam Mubeen has a Bachelor\u2019s in Islamic Studies and Arabic and a Master\u2019s in Islamic Law and Tradition from Institute of Knowledge in Diamond Bar, CA. She is currently continuing her studies at Qalam Seminary and aspires to be a lifelong student of knowledge. She has served in many masajid and communities across California.
