Summer school

The IACC Summer School hopes to provide kids with an environment in which they can receive an interactive education about their religion, be creatively challenged and have a chance to create new friendships and bonds that will help shape them into better Muslims and individuals. Here are a few things you can expect your kids to learn from the Summer School:

  1. Recitation of the Qur’an and memorization of the chapters within using the Qa’eda and Juz’ Amma.
  2. Memorization of various du’as and when to use them.
  3. Learning how to read and write Arabic letters/words and numbers.
  4. How to properly establish Salaat and the etiquette of a Masjid.
  5. The principles of Islam and their application in the life of a Muslim (Iman, Remembrance of Allah, Ramadan/Fasting/Charity, Fulfilling the rights of others, etc.)
  6. The history of Islam and its importance through the stories of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the other Prophets of Allah (swt).
  7. Take part in various creative activities that will help them understand all of the above mentioned items in a better and more permanent way.

IACC Summer School FAQ Document

My son/daughter is 7 years old. Can I enroll him/her in the Summer School Program?
If your child is within the age range specified on the flyer (5-12 years), then you do not have to make a special request. The admission is automatic upon the submission of registration form and tuition payment.

My son/daughter is younger than the age of 5. Can I enroll him/her in the Summer School Program?
If your child is not within the age range specified on the flyer (5-12 years), then you will have to submit a special request through the contact information provided on the flyer. We may make an exception if the child is between the age of 4 and 5. We may also make an exception is the child is between the age of 12 and 13. Our e-mail address is

Where do I find the registration form, and where do I submit it?
You will find the registration form online at or at the IACC front office. You have two options: 1) fill out the form, and submit it to the office with your payment, or 2) fill out your information online at the link below and then come to the office to submit your payment.

When and how can I make the tuition payment?
Tuition must be paid at the time of registration. Payment with registration can be made with the Quranic Education administrator during office hours (Monday-Friday, 4-8pm), or during advertised summer school registration. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. Your student will not be assigned a class unless payment has been made.

How do you accept the payments?
We accept payments in cash, check or credit/debit card.

What is the tuition breakdown for the program?

Can I receive a discount or a scholarship for my child?
Discounts are already calculated in the fee schedule for multiple sessions and multiple children. We do not give out other discounts or scholarships for our summer program unless financial need is authenticated. A special request must be made to the Quran Education department and will require submission of a copy of your W-2 form.

What is the IACC Summer Program curriculum?

How are the students divided between all of the different levels?
We have 3 different levels in the summer program. Level 1 caters to 5, 6 and 7 year olds. Level 2 caters to 8 and 9 year olds. Level 3 caters to 10-12 year olds. The depth of information taught to each level of students is based on their age group and ability to comprehend a certain grade of knowledge. Students are divided according to recitation ability for their Quran class.
